We respectfully acknowledge the work of the BCCDA takes place across the province of BC; which encompasses the homelands of over 200 distinct Indigenous nations and cultures, with over 30 different languages and close to 60 unique dialects spoken across those homelands. Our office is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam)nations. In addition, BCCDA recognizes the 39 Métis Chartered Communities across British Columbia.
