Training Days are full-day professional development events suited for individuals in career/employment counselling, employment, and rehabilitation. Training days are available to BCCDA members at the low cost of $20.00 each (including tax) for the full day. We welcome non-members for $40.00 each. Pre-registration is not required; remit payment and receive a receipt at the door. Please note: some training days may feature special speakers and/or events that require a different fee structure. Any fee change will be announced in the BCCDA News and the agenda for the specific training day.
Interior Region
BCCDA is striving to have regular training days in the Interior and we could use your help. If you are interested in becoming a regional coordinator or providing training day assistance (i.e., identifying speakers and venues, assisting with registration) please contact us.
Fraser Valley Region
BCCDA is striving to have regular training days in the Fraser Valley (e.g., Langley, Abbotsford, Mission) and we could use your help. If you are interested in becoming a regional coordinator or providing training day assistance (i.e., identifying speakers and venues, assisting with registration) please contact us.
Vancouver Island (Central & North Island) Region
BCCDA is striving to have regular training days in the Central and North Island region (e.g., Nanaimo, Parksville, Comox, Campbell River) and we could use your help. If you are interested in becoming a regional coordinator or providing training day assistance (i.e., identifying speakers and venues, assisting with registration) please contact us.
Other Regions
In order to successfully offer training days in other regions we need to hear from members in those regions. Whether you want to be a volunteer coordinator or could just provide a venue and help? Get the word out? We need your input. An important first step will be for our regional members to let us know whether a training day is what your area needs and what topics would be helpful.
