The Philosopher's Café is a monthly face-to-face discussion held in various locations throughout the province. These discussions are intended to promote and support a learning dialogue between career practitioners. Each Café discussion is supported by a volunteer facilitator who coordinates the session. Cafés can be held at any location including local agencies.

The Philosopher's Café is available to BCCDA members at no additional cost. Non-members are welcome for $10.00 per session.
Contact BCCDA if you have questions about the Café, would like to volunteer as a Café facilitator, or your agency is interested in hosting Café sessions.
ENET has created an online social network for Café participants to connect with and support one another beyond the face-to-face meetings. Use this network to find an upcoming café session and join in the discussions or create and organize a new Café in your area. Monthly discussion topics are listed below and will be announced in the bi-weekly BCCDA News. Please note that we welcome discussions on any topics relevant to the sector and encourage Café topic suggestions. To submit your idea for future Café sessions email info@bccda.org.
