The BCCDA Book Club is an online community designed for BCCDA members to discuss various books related to or of interest to the Career Development and Rehabilitation fields. Book Club discussions will occur during a specific 5-day period (usually Tuesday to Saturday) and we hope to profile a new book each month – keep watch for a Book Club schedule. The BCCDA Book Club provides an opportunity for practitioners to connect with colleagues around British Columbia and, where possible, there will be opportunities to connect with the author(s). Even better it gives you a reason to get caught up on your reading "wish list."
Book recommendations are welcomed. Contact us to recommend a book.
Order information and Book Club dates will be released in the bi-weekly BCCDA News. If you are interested in participating please email info@bccda.org with your name and membership number to be added to the participant list. Be sure to note which discussion you would like to part take in. Two days prior to the schedule discussion period you will receive instructions via email on how to access the online discussions. While this service is free to BCCDA members, there is a cost for each book. Be sure to allow time to order and read the book prior to the scheduled discussion. We look forward to seeing you.
